A Special Partnership, Celebrated in Cake
This summer, BookaCake had the pleasure of creating a bespoke corporate cake to celebrate 15 years of partnership between Adyen and Booking.com.
The brief brought together two recognisable brands and one important milestone. Our aim was to turn that story into a celebration centrepiece, with details reflecting travel, hospitality and payments.
The result was a hotel-inspired design in Booking.com blue and Adyen green, accompanied by matching decorated cupcakes.
Bringing Both Brands into the Design
For this project, we created a tall hotel-style centrepiece with rows of yellow windows, a detailed entrance and Booking.com signage.
The green base featured Adyen branding, while flags representing both companies stood at the top. A central sign carried the message: “Celebrating 15 Years of Partnership.”
Small handmade figures and miniature suitcases added character to the scene. These details connected the design to the world of travel, while a small Adyen-branded reception desk brought the payment partner into the hotel setting.
Every element helped bring the two brands together in one cohesive design.
Matching Corporate Cupcakes
Alongside the centrepiece, we created cupcakes decorated with company logos, hotel and airport imagery, currency symbols and miniature suitcases.
The cupcakes carried the same colours and themes as the main cake, creating a coordinated display for the celebration.
For corporate events, matching cupcakes offer an easy way to share the theme with more guests. They can be displayed alongside a statement cake or individually boxed for guests to take away.
